I have a 2012 Nissan Leaf in Australia. It uses the 2G network for all telemetry. Australia just turned off the 3G network.

I think its pretty safe to say the telemetry does not work anymore.

I never play PvP (skill issue).

I will always cheat, but only by making the mods myself. I often find that I learn more about the game and have more fun modding than actually playing. For PvE, I make sure that everyone is aware of my mods and OK with them, or I turn off the mods they don’t like.

I am not OK with ruining other peoples fun. I’ve even permanently deleted a mod which could cause issues in the wrong hands, because my hands were definitely the wrong hands. I’m still sad, but everyone else in that game is better off.

Everyone has fun in their own way. If a game is not fun for you, sometimes the right mods or cheats can make it fun. If no one else is harmed, then you’re playing it right.

My 2012 Nissan Leaf is still doing fine.

Maybe it’s not an issue with EVs, but with overbearing automakers.

Specs

It doesn’t look like it. They had to make compromises on what to include, otherwise they’d end up with smartwatch that’s larger than a phone.

With it being 100% open source, it should be easy* for someone to add these features.

I once designed a first prototype, and it worked so well I didn’t need the other 3 iterations I was planning.

It was a few years ago, but I’ll never forget (and probably never manage that again).

I gave up after reaching room 46 and just watched Aliensrock. I’m glad I did, because the game just kept going every time I thought it was almost over.

I have so much respect for this game, and I don’t regret buying it.

Kernel level anticheat still can’t detect all possible cheats, like Neuromuscular Aim Assist.

They certainly have some unique (and possibly controversial) design philosophies, but providing schematics is far beyond what most companies will do. I’ll take another look at some point.

I really wish there was an open source car I could buy and tinker with.

I’d love to make one myself, but I don’t have the talent, money, or commitment.

I’ll keep dreaming that it will happen one day.

I absolutely love Factorio. I even bought the DLC the moment it came out.

I’m also absolutely rubbish at the game. I’ve never managed to finish the game on my own, and usually struggle to get blue science producing at all, much less at the correct ratio.

I do have fun with trains though, so I’ll often jump into friends’ games and just optimize (replace) their train networks.

My 94yo friend is still going strong. His advice is to keep moving. Even just going for a short walk does more than you realise.

Look after your eyes, ears, and back, and always wear the recommended protective gear. People who say you look stupid using the correct technique or wearing protective gear will either die first, or regret their decision after it’s too late to do anything about it.

Most of all, learn from other peoples mistakes. You don’t have enough time or luck to make them all yourself.
