For me typing “power off” or “shut down” works but I have to write it in full.

It doesn’t work for me (using plasma). Also it seems to be using DBUS which I am not sure if it will work within a cron job.
A simple solution that works for me is something like this:
echo hello > /dev/pts/0

for people like me wondering, what’s a quantum radar:
They send out photons whose quantum properties changes once they hit the stealth aircraft.
Once the single unit photons reach the radar after hitting the stealth aircraft, they are studied, thereby revealing the position of the stealth jets.
so far all the information we have (from the article) beings with “China claims”
I call bs and propaganda campaign but will see.

I second freeCAD for complicated designs. For simple stuff I use tinkercad which runs from web browser
what is the argument against using systemd?
A quicker way to test this is by using echo
try echo tar czf ~/package.tgz admin/* api/* mobile/*

why narcissist?

Right so ROM developers could still do what they do. Only that it would take longer.
Not ideal but not so grim

That’s a misconception

Android is opensource. ROM developers like lineageos should be able to create nornal ROMs with sideload enabled

you are right.
You could disable it though in firefox: “about:config” and find “network.IDN_show_punycode” and set to true.

I get why it was introduced. I am telling you why its dangrous

in a real browser
Which is a major security risk and you should avoid those “real browsers”.
by displaying Unicode characters an attacker can send you a link that clearly shows its yahoo.com and you see in the browser url that its yahoo.com but in reality its unicode letters that look similar to latin one.
that’s really bad
Should’ve been “make -1 wishes” 0 is 0
Edit:oh I get it. First the gene fullfill the wish then subtract one from the 0 wishes.

Amazing thanks! I was always bothered by photoresist’s reflection loss. Glad they figured that out

ELI5 anyone ?
How about extending this to cover your humble civilians too

If it wasnt encrypted you could have used testdisk app but I dont see how you could decrypt it in this state

TLDR; its carbon based and same like other carbon based super materials its difficult to produce on large scale. at least for now
you could try running this command
qdbus6 org.kde.Shutdown /Shutdown logoutAndShutdownWARNING: this should shutdown your PC. I didn’t test it personally but it should work.
create a menu shortcut that execute this command and you will never have to deal with this problem again.
